As part of an already successful mix of retail and leisure, the David Lloyd Club will bring a year-round attraction that supports footfall, creates synergy between existing businesses, and helps drive linked trips and longer visits, benefitting shops, cafés, and other nearby outlets.
Local jobs - In addition to providing first-class facilities for local people, the new David Lloyd would also create approximately 80 -100 permanent jobs for local people across a range of roles and levels, as well as roughly 50 temporary jobs during construction.
Reduce demand on health services - The provision of a David Lloyd Club will help to reduce pressures on local health services by enabling you to maintain healthy fitness habits which in turn helps to lower the risk of disease as well as improve your overall physical and mental health and wellbeing.
