This consultation is presented on behalf of Churchill Living and Weatherstone Properties Group and invites you to provide feedback on proposals to redevelop the Seaford & District Constitutional Club, Crouch Lane, Seaford, BN25 1PU.
The Seaford & District Constitutional Club is a private members club that has been looking to relocate to a new site given the current building is tired and has become challenging to operate. The Constitutional Club has identified a new site which is located approximately half a mile west of the current club.
There is therefore a significant opportunity to positively redevelop the current site on Crouch Lane, which would constitute a significant betterment to the street scene and deliver a range of social, economic and environmental benefits.
The site has planning permission for a similar retirement living application (reference LW/22/0356) and the principle of regenerating the site for a retirement living development is therefore considered to be acceptable in planning terms.
