Welcome
Churchill Retirement Living are bringing forward proposals for a new retirement living development at the former Tesco site, between the Sheep Street Long Stay car park and the Brewery Court car park, in Cirencester town centre.
The Tesco store closed in 2023 and relocated to Cricklade Street. The site has since remained vacant.
Churchill Retirement Living’s vision is to deliver a mix of uses comprising retirement living apartments, whilst also providing commercial units at ground floor which will open onto, and help to revitalise, Brewery Court.
The proposed development would contribute positively to the character and appearance of the local area and making a significant contribution locally in terms of social, economic and environmental benefits. The development is also an opportunity to open long-distance views of St John the Baptist Church tower from Sheep Street.
This website provides a wide range of information regarding the site and, our plans, plus information about Churchill Retirement Living’s retirement communities. You can review this information using the tabs on this website.
