Welcome
Welcome to our website on the proposals for Land at Newcastle Road – to the east of Nantwich.
David Lloyd Leisure is seeking to invest in Nantwich and deliver the UK’s first proposed enhanced David Lloyd wellness club, incorporating a significantly enhanced spa area and outdoor space, with the aim of creating a fitness and wellness destination for Nantwich and the surrounding area. This would be the first of its kind in Cheshire East, creating a destination location for the District.
We have prepared this website to provide information on the proposals and to keep you informed with the next steps. This website will also allow you to view the latest updates regarding our planning application and provide contact details for our project team.

Our 2030 Carbon Net Zero Commitment
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at David Lloyd Clubs, and our target to become net zero by 2030 underpins our environmental programmes.
Carbon net zero means that across all of our clubs, we add no more carbon than we remove. We include emissions that we are directly responsible for, and we go further than this by also including emmissions that occur throughout our supply chain activity.
To make sure we are accoutnable and deliver on our promises, we have an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Steering Committee which meets quarterly. Part of this includes setting our ESG goals and tracking progress to date and ensuring our ESG values form the fabric of our operation.
