David Lloyd Leisure want to invest in Cheshire East and deliver the UK’s first enhanced David Lloyd wellness club, with superior spa areas and outdoor space, creating a fitness and wellness destination for Nantwich and the surrounding area.
This would be the first David Lloyd Club in Cheshire East and a destination location for the District, serving the local communities in Nantwich, Willaston and Shavington and further afield.
The proposals for Nantwich, seek to provide a premium facility that delivers a broad range of active, leisure and lifestyle pursuits for all the family that a typical housing development cannot offer as well as create a range of good local jobs to aid the town’s economic growth.
The new enhanced health, wellness and racquets club would provide a first of its kind community hub for local and groups, which will uniquely offer:
- Significantly enhanced spa facilities and spa garden to promote mindfulness and wellness.
- Superior outdoor terrace space.
- Top class racquet facilities, including tennis and padel courts and a multi-purpose sports hall.
- Stylish clubroom for members, including a café.
- Large open spaces for members to work, relax and socialise.
- State of the art gym featuring the latest in functional training equipment, cardio-vascular machines and free-weights.
- Heated indoor and outdoor pools including learner pools.
- Well-equipped exercise studios.
