David Lloyd

Horsham

Welcome

David Lloyd Leisure is bringing forward exciting new proposals for a state-of-the-art premium health and wellness club as part of a wider Masterplanned Development at Mowbray at land on a vacant plot north east of the A264 Rusper Road Roundabout, North of Horsham.

The proposed development was subject to previous planning approval in 2021, with extant outline planning permission for a mixed-use development, to include housing, business, retail, a community centre, leisure facilities, education facilities, public open space and associated landscaping.

A revised proposal has been submitted for the wider scheme by developers at the same time as David Lloyd. As a result, the site has a clear history of planned development and benefits from an established principle for leisure uses.

We have prepared this website to provide information on the proposals and to keep you informed with the next steps.

This website will also allow you to view the latest updates regarding our planning application and provide contact details for our project team.

Our Business Responsibility

As Europe's leading health, fitness and wellness group, we believe taking care of yourself is important. So naturally, we want to take care of our members, our team, the environment and the communities around us too. We're committed to making positive change through our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles. We formed an ESG committee in 2021, who identify risks and opportunities for us as a responsible, sustainable business.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at David Lloyd Clubs. We're committed to becoming carbon net zero. This means removing at least as much greenhouse gas from the environment as we produce. Not only are we looking at our Clubs, but also emissions we're not directly responsible for in our supply chain. Alongside this, we're reducing our Clubs’ waste and using sustainable raw materials.
