A New Sainsbury’s for Bromsgrove  

We’re planning to bring Sainsbury’s unbeatable combination of quality fresh food, great value, innovative products and brilliant colleague service to a new store in Bromsgrove.

We’ve recently submitted a planning application to Bromsgrove District Council for a new Sainsbury’s Supermarket at the former Homebase store at Brook Retail Park, Bromsgrove, B60 3DR. The planning application is registered under reference 25/00118/FUL.

If we get an approval on our proposals, we are committed to bringing forward our new Sainsbury’s store within 12 months, which delivers a number of benefits for the Council and local community, including:

  • £15.3 million gross investment into Bromsgrove: Securing the site’s future and regenerating a currently vacant, brownfield site.

  • 100 new full-time and part time jobs

  • Improved shopping options: For local people and bringing the Sainsbury’s brand to the community

  • Significant other contributions to the wider community: Including business rate income to Bromsgrove District Council and support for local charity and community initiatives.

This public consultation is being conducted by Development Communications Limited (DevComms), a Data Processor, acting on behalf of Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd, the Data Controller.

Your responses will be shared with and considered by Sainsbury’s and DevComms as part of the consultation process on these proposals. Personal information will be securely stored for the duration of the project and securely destroyed/deleted on completion. Aggregated insights might be published or shared with the relevant local planning authorities as part of a planning application. No personal data will be shared as part of this process.
