Our Proposals
Churchill Retirement Living’s vision for the site on Lower Fore Street is to bring this site into beneficial and positive use as a retirement living development that meets the local need for retirement apartments. The proposed redevelopment would also greatly improve the attractiveness of a site within a predominantly residential area and make a significant contribution locally in terms of social, economic and environmental benefits.
The proposals seek to provide 54 retirement living apartments with associated communal areas, parking and landscaping. The proposal includes 2 or 3 independently functioning retail units. At the north east section of the site, there will be a small terraced development of 6 retirement cottages.
