Our Plans
Future-ready from Day 1
The site will provide around 100 new High Power EV charging bays from day one supporting drivers making the switch to EV by reducing range anxiety through capacity, reliability, simplicity and fast charging speeds on the M55.
While our site will be ready for an EV future, we will still be providing petrol and diesel refuelling for cars on-site through a traditional fuel-filling station.
New HGV spaces
Our proposals include around 400 new HGV spaces, helping to address the local critical shortage and ensuring HGV drivers have somewhere safe and secure to park overnight and access to essential welfare facilities including toilets, showers, and hot food.
All HGV spaces will be designed to accommodate electric charging infrastructure if required, should electric HGVs be rolled out in the future.
Sustainable construction
Brentwood Services will be designed with sustainability in mind and will feature low-carbon building design, targeting a BREEAM excellent standard for sustainable construction. As well as a vibrant green living roof, and sensitively designed architecture, we are also planning to install solar panels on the roofs of both the car fuel filling station and the HGV fuel filling station to generate renewable energy on-site.
