Ox Place

Land at Meadow Lane, Iffley

Meet the team

OX Place is an affordable housing developer for the City of Oxford. We have recently changed our name from Oxford City Housing Limited (OCHL) to OX Place. OCHL was set up by Oxford City Council in 2016 with an ambition to drive the provision of more affordable housing within the city.

We want to build desirable, modern and sustainable homes to the highest standards so more people in Oxford can afford to stay in the city, maybe owning their own home and being part of their local community.

To tackle the housing crisis in Oxford, OX Place have the target to build c. 2,000 new homes over the next 10 years. Of these, 1,125 will be new council homes for rent and a further 301 will be in other forms of affordable tenure such as shared ownership.

OX Place is due to complete construction of its first homes shortly and has a growing pipeline of developments and land that will propel the company to meet its objectives to play its part in helping to directly tackle the housing crisis in our city.

We are pleased to have appointed the experienced developer Hill Group as the development manager. Hill shares our vision for Iffley and has a strong track record of delivering affordable homes to the very highest levels of quality and sustainability.
