Landscaping

Our landscaping strategy will form a core part of our approach to integrating the scheme’s design into the existing setting, minimising any potential visual impact. We are committed to delivering a landscape led design, which will incorporate numerous terraced landscapes and an extensive tree planting strategy. This will provide further screening and give a natural context to the development. Green open space will also be provided, which can be enjoyed by future occupiers of the site.

Furthermore, the landscape masterplan will focus on biodiversity through provision of new habitats and ecological connectivity. This will include delivering range of semi-natural habitats, through installation of bird boxes, bat boxes and log piles. We will also ensure we retain existing habitats such as hedgerows, while also providing an extensive area of scrub planting, with new opportunities for wildlife including birds and reptiles.
