Transport & Access

The new landmark gateway development would be accessed using the existing London Road North Roundabout, which is located off the first junction of the A1081, New Airport Way. Improvements would also be made Newlands Road and the Church Road junction to minimise any potential impact on the local highways network.

Our proposals will also seek to promote sustainable modes of transport. Chiefly, a new pedestrian and cycle pathway will be delivered, joining the London Road roundabout and Newlands Road. The site will also contribute to the extension of bus services in the local area. 548 parking spaces, including 110 active electric car parking points, will be provided on-site alongside a further 100 cycle parking spaces.
