The Emerging Masterplan
The feedback from Phase One of the public consultation revealed that respondents had mixed views on whether the masterplan made the best use of the site. Since, we have incorporated your responses into the design to ensure your priorities were met.
The initial consultation highlighted the need for a wide range of housing types, in response, our masterplan now includes 1-2 bed starter/ downsizer homes, bungalows, family housing as well as the provision of affordable housing.
Another key consultation point was the emphasis on sustainable, healthy living. Our masterplan has evolved to encourage active travel via a network of accessible trails and paths, as well as carefully considering the areas allocated for pockets of housing.
