Planning application documents

The planning application includes a series of reports and documents that cover all areas of the scheme.

All submitted planning application documents are available to view on the Chelmsford City Council’s planning portal, however we have included the key documents below.

Transport Statement

Sets out an assessment of public transport provision and existing vehicle movements in the local area and the proposed improvements to public and non-car transport and the local road network as part of the scheme. 

Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy

An assessment of existing surface water and foul water drainage across the site, including details of the proposed new drainage system.

Design and Access Statement

This report explains the design approach to the scheme and how access to and from the site is achieved. 

Planning Statement

This document provides an overview of the application and how it complies with the planning policies as set out in the Chelmsford Local Plan.
